For many people, understanding the cost structure of a logistics provider can be tricky. With so many variables and hidden fees, it can easily become confusing. At Lógicos, we aim to offer clear, simple, and transparent pricing that is fair for everyone. In this article, we'll break down the five key components of our cost structure so you can understand what to expect in just a few minutes.

Cost Structure: What to Consider?

When working with us, you should consider the following cost blocks: Reception, Storage, Picking and Packing, Shipping, and Monthly Fee.

Reception

After completing our onboarding process and receiving the shipment notification for your goods, we prepare our warehouse to receive your products. Your items may arrive in the following formats:

  • Single-reference pallets
  • Multi-reference pallets with single-reference boxes
  • Mixed-reference pallets and boxes
  • Single-reference boxes
  • Mixed-reference boxes (individual units)

We charge for reception in three ways:

  • Per single-reference pallet: €5 per unit.
  • Per single-reference box: €1.50 per box
  • Per individual unit: €0.15 per unit contained within the box.

Once we receive your goods, we guarantee they will be processed and available in our system within 24 hours, allowing your business to start operating with us promptly.

Storage

Our storage cost is €10 per cubic meter. This method ensures fairness as we charge based on the actual space your items occupy, rather than by location. This means your storage cost decreases as you sell your inventory, unlike other companies that charge a flat rate regardless of the space used.

Picking and Packing

Picking: The cost structure for order preparation depends on whether your business is B2B or B2C. In both cases, the pricing is straightforward.
    • B2C: The cost per order varies based on the number of monthly orders. Higher order volumes reduce the per-order preparation cost. This cost includes two elements: cost per order (which includes the first unit) and additional units. As order volume increases, both costs decrease.

    • B2B: For B2B, the initial order cost is fixed. The variable cost comes from the weight of additional units, with heavier units incurring higher costs.

Packing: Packing costs depend on the type of packaging you choose. If you need our boxes, we offer a wide range from various suppliers to fit your products perfectly. If you already have your packaging, you can send it to us, and we will ensure your orders are packed as you would.

We are flexible with our client's requests and rarely encounter situations we cannot accommodate. For complex requests, we will provide a custom quote based on the time and resources required, at a rate of €30 per hour for activities outside the standard budget.

Shipping

We partner with various transport companies to meet our client's diverse needs, from courier services to pallet and container shipments. Our shipping rates are clear and transparent, detailing the cost for sending an order of a specific weight to your chosen destination. For some shipments, volumetric weight must be considered.
